League Director of the Year
Koboi Simpson
Clayton COunty Football League
Mr. Simpson inherited a large task when he was handed the keys to this league. With what he has done to turnaround the league structure, finances and competition has been second to none. He approaches the way he runs his league the same way he used to play sports, with attention to detail and a need to always improve his league. He was the first to harness the new wave of technology to take his league to another level. With his out of the box thinking there is no telling what will be in store for his league next year.
Park/Association Director
Valester Wilson
Central Dekalb Jaguars
Many are to thank for the meteoric rise to the top for MAYFL. The person that stands at the middle of it all is Valester Wilson from Central Dekalb Jaguars. He has not only turned his association to the one of the most competitive teams in the state but he has also made his Jaguars a household name. The Central Dekalb Jaguars are know throughout the state as "THE U". Wilson single handily not only helped his association grow this year but his league benefited from his actions as well. His marketing is second to none as he served as one of the key members (the other was Adrian Carney from Dekalb Trojans) from MAYFL to strengthen the ties between their league and B2C
Team Mom
Tamekia Reynolds
Tucker Lions - 135lbs
Whether she is organizing a team function for of the field or a trip for her team to play out of state. Mrs. Reynolds brought her professionalism to organization with a rich tradition but it was sorely in need for a injection of energy. Having a conversation with Tamekia you could see here being a high earner in a job in sales because when she talks about the Tucker Lions she is in full promotion mode. You know a team mom has everything together when you don't ask the coach any questions instead you go straight to the team mom. That is the type of structure she has help bring to her team.
