The U stands strong as the Jaguars dominate the Titans
The Central DeKalb Jaguars has faced many opponents this season, playing teams from all over the Southeast. This was going to be a different opponent that they were facing in the Frank Ski Grudge Match. This was an opponent that they knew little about. The East Metro Titans can be the worst type of opponent to face on the field. They are a small organization. They don’t have a huge fan support but they do know how to play football and if you over look them then it is very possible that you could be on the wrong side of the scoreboard at the end of the game.
Unfortunately for the East Metro Titans Coach Mahoney had his boys prepared. After a productive week of practice the Jaguars came out Saturday and they were executing on all cylinders. Passing game was generating big plays, the running game was controlling the clock and eating up ground and the defense surrendered nothing to the Titans offense all day.
This was a game that was considered more of a showcase for the dominant Jaguars, as they could do no wrong. They played an absolutely perfect game. At the end of the day the score was 33-0 and the Jaguars had won the Grudge Match
