Ben Hill Blue vs Atlanta Vikings Gold - 10U

The Vikings ride #8 to the victory

The games started with great energy in the air as the Ben Hill Blue were about to take on the visiting Atlanta Vikings Gold. The game started off very physical as both defense were forcing turnovers on great individual plays.

Then #8 (Vikings) broke up the middle untouched for a TD run. The following drive Ben Hill QB hit #5 (Ben Hill) on a slant route. 52 yards later the score was tied 6-6.

After that #8 (Vikings) took over with physical runs. It was to a point you could hear the crowd yelling at “watch #8”, but there was nothing Ben Hill could do as #8 was rumbling over everyone.

With the score now 19-6 with the Vikings in the lead Ben Hill Blue made a defensive adjustment which was able to stop the Vikings running attack but it served to be to late as Ben Hill could get nothing going on offense and time eventually ran out.

The Vikings came away with a road victory against a very talented Ben Hill team. Ben Hill has to be one of the most talented team in the 10U division in the state of GA but they have to work on their play calling before that talent can produce points…C’mon Coach!

#4 (Vikings) had a very good game with some key runs and a fumble recovery. #28 (Ben Hill) was phenomenal on defense with a big hit that forced a turnover and a interception.
