Honorable Mention: East Point

Every year this has been a matchup that has been circled on the calendar for everyone in youth football.  This year it isn’t the same as the Ducks have turned this once considered rivalry into a one sided attraction as just another game for the Ducks to showcase their talents.  North Henry has had a very good defense for years that has been able to battle with the Ducks during moments of the game but eventually the talent of the Ducks over takes the Tigers and the game gets out of hand by the end of the 3rd Quarter.  This year might have some more interest as North Henry has added RJ Johnson at QB, the kid can absolutely get it done but where he helps them more is on defense where he can play the safety and they can let Raul Aguire roam the field and make plays.  If the Ducks do what they are used to doing and that is lean on that talented line then they should be able to win another one in this storied matchup.  On a side note if the Tigers don’t double Horace Lockett then its going to be a long day as the Player of the Year candidate has a chance to separate himself from the pack with this game.  The better game might be with #3 ATL Vikings vs #6 Dekalb Yellow Jackets, Coach Tim has coached the Vikings for years and now he is not on the sideline.  DYJ is loaded with talent upfront on defense but they have to be able to consistently score points against big name opponents.  Mill Creek and Parkview are a battle of undefeated teams.  Caleb Downs the former B2C Player of the Year will once again be in rare form as he takes the field to put on a show.

BIG GAME READY

#1 ATL Ducks vs #2 North Henry

#8 Mill Creek Mullins vs Parkview
