This division ends and starts with Central Dekalb. Tavarre Terrell is the best player at this age group on offense and defense. Last year he was up for B2C Player of the Year at the 6U Division when he was 5. A year later he has gotten extremely better. Last time a kid dominated this much on both sides of the ball at this age group was Caleb Downs from Peachtree Ridge and he has turned out to be a very good player heading into the 11U Division. Only one problem with this scenario is that one of the best coaches in that age group is on the Welcome All Blue sidelines in Coach Chris. You instantly saw him go to work in the Autism Bowl with his play calling and adjustments. Don’t know if it is going to happen now but by the end of the season they will be pushing Central Deklab and Acworth for the #1 ranking in the state headed into the B2C Championship Series.
Central Dekalb beats Welcome All Blue 13-12 in the Championship game
This is a stacked age group and right now besides Acworth being here you have all the top teams in it. Central Dekalb and Jonesboro are two very physical teams up front with their linemen that can consistently make plays in the backfield. Atlanta Tigers and Decatur Army Camo have skill players that can house it at anytime. In the end it might be defending state champs Welcome All and the upstart Atlanta Ducks. Atlanta Ducks are small but they run a offensive system that is predicated on them using their speed and spreading out the defense to create space based on their formation. Welcome All is just a force on offense and defense. Backs hit the holes, offensive line blocks well up front. Defensively the players are always in a position to make a play on the ball.
Welcome All beats Atlanta Ducks 20-14 to win the Championship
Atlanta Vikings are that good. Last week in the B2C Autism Bowl they were able to win a tournament featuring the AAU Champs and Pop Warner Champs in their age group. That should be all the information you need.
Atlanta Vikings beats Central Dekalb Black 12-7 to win the Championship
Atlanta Ducks and Welcome All renew an old rivalry from when the Atlanta Ducks team was with the Atlanta Vikings. Now the Ducks are starting a new era and they are looking to come out of the Centennial Bowl with a win. Welcome All has added a major piece on their team and it stands on the sideline with Coach Brice. With Coach Brice and Coach Noland working together again they should be in the championship game.
Welcome All beats Atlanta Ducks in OT 12-6 to win the Championship
Pool 1 is going to be fun to watch with the Atlanta Vikings, North Henry and Forsyth all in the same pool. Forsyth pulled out the big win over North Henry in the B2C Championship Series last year in a very good game. North Henry seems like one of those teams that with all the talent they have something is always missing. Can they put it together this season, we shall see? Atlanta Vikings will be very talented on the field but just like North Henry they have to put it together to make it work on the field. Atlanta Ducks are going to be an interesting team to watch this season. They are undefeated in their age group, meaning they have never lost….ever in their age group. Now they are at a point where they are eying history. To be considered one of the greatest teams ever like North Henry, Dacula and Union Grove just to name a few. Let’s see how they deal with the pressure as it starts to mount for them.
Atlanta Ducks beat North Henry Tigers 30-0 in the Championship game
CD Black walks away with this one. Their defense has always been good, now they are finally using the pieces they have on offense. They can beat you in the ground and pound game and they can beat you going down the field.
Central Dekalb beat GA Thoroughbreds 21-0 in the Championship game
Sunday at 11:30AM, just come over to field 5 and 6 and get your popcorn ready because it is going down. If the 4 semifinal teams are Welcome All, East Metro, Central DeKalb Black and the Atlanta Tigers then the football gods have smiled upon us. That is going to be a great matchup for either on of the teams. Atlanta Tigers are the talk of the city right now as they beat some very good teams in the B2C Autism Bowl including Hapeville and Fayette. They aren’t big upfront but Coach James Davis has the best offensive mind in the state besides Mill Creeks Coach Pat. Central Dekalb has never had an explosive offense but their defense has always played lights out and that is what they will continue to do as they have size indie to stop the dives and the leads and speed to get outside. East Metro has one of the best defensive linemen in the state in Matthew Barker. Great size, gets off the ball very well. Only thing he needs to work on is using his hands and that will come in time. Everybody is shocked by Welcome All performance last week but everyone forgets that Coach Browning using the Autism Bowl to let his players get some contact and feel his players out a bit. If you think that Welcome All isn’t going to be ready for the Centennial Bowl then I have a beach house in Idaho that I would like to sell you. Basically saying that teams should be prepared for Coach Browning Panthers.

Georgia Thoroughbreds and Coach Gus have been so successful at this age group. They usually peak early and lose in the end in their league playoffs or go out early in the B2C Championship Series. Coach Gus has a great scheme and does a wonderful job with his players but now they must take the next step and win the big games if they are going to be considered elite.
