This division is loaded but the Atlanta Vikings are on top. They are the only team with three B2C Player of the Finalist from 2008 and 2009. New Hope probably has the best player in 8U, their QB can lead them to the championship in the NWGYFL. This past week his team had a great win against a very good Acworth team. McDonough Cougars make an appearance in the rankings as the first team from the newly formed Southern Competitive League.

Union Grove Wolverines Maroon is starting back where they left off and last years B2C Player of the Year is back in full effect. The Riverdale Hurricanes also have their B2C Player of the Year back and he is looking great. With the addition of #8 HB/LB, it should be very interesting to see if they can run the table in their league in and make it to the Battle of the Best

Eagles or Titans which one would you choose? The panel had a very hard time deciding who should be number one as all other topics were thrown around. In the end the East Metro Titans will be holding on to the number one spot. The only thing that might hurt them is strength of schedule. North Clayton Eagles land in the number two spot and the Glenwood Panther are number three. The big surprise of the rankings is the Gresham Park Rattlers Green. They were formerly the Clayton County Cowboys and now they have switched over to the Gresham Park Rattlers Green. With Gresham great community support and the way the Clayton County Cowboys (now GP Rattlers) play football they have a great chance to make it to the Frank Ski Bowl. Look out for a battle on September 11th as they will play last year league champions and Frank Ski Bowl participants the GA Rattlers. This one will be a classic game. The winner should have the inside track on the Frank Ski Bowl

Welcome All Panthers return everybody and when I say everybody, I mean everybody. I even think waterboy came back for another year. The only thing is can this 13 yr old team win the division with such high expectations. Led by a hard hitting defense and an offense that can put up 50 points a game, they are going to be hard to beat. Hapeville Hornets make a strong case after a solid showing in the Centennial Bowl. They will have some very strong competition in the YFA with the Redan Raiders. Tucker is ranked low only for one reason and that is injuries. Hopefully they can heal up in time to compete for their league championship. Ben Hill returns a solid nucleus from arguably the greatest youth team ever last year at 12U but gone is B2C Player of the Year Deantre Turman. On the bright side #22 RB
