Hillgrove will take on a very good Walton team that has one of the most underrated players in the state as Blaylock (Walton) comes from a family of athletes. Don’t be surprised if he puts on a show for everyone in attendance. Fairburn can become the first team to enter the conversation when it comes to the Frank Ski Kids Foundation Youth Bowl as they will try and win the MAYFL Championship. Does the win guarantee a spot? No. But it does give them a chance to be selected with a win. Panhandle and Jonesboro are entering the same conversation with a win this weekend in the Clayton County Championship. Gwinnett Chargers must seal the deal this weekend as they will have to play a Hapeville team that wants in the Frank Ski Bowl bad. Try this for a fact, the team that has had a chance to advance to the Frank Ski Bowl the past two years in the YFA has NEVER won. This year will be interesting to see if the Chargers can erase that ghost. The SCFL Semifinals are going to be EPIC!!! Welcome All must play a Tucker team that intimidates you with their name and there rich tradition. It won’t be a shock if all of Tucker from the high school all the way down to the youth programs are helping the Tucker Lions get prepared for this game. Then on the other side is North Henry with one of the most dominate players in the game (#0) takes on a Central Dekalb Jaguars defense that he torched last game. Look for the the Jaguars to get their outstanding WR involved more in the game with screens, drags, direct snaps…anything to get the ball in his hands as he is a certified game changer.
