Three wins over three ranked teams by a sizable margin (+20), you have to give them there just due. Now the panel has chosen them as the #1 team in the state. The run they are on is impressive but can they defeat the team that left them with a bitter taste in their mouth last December. This game already has the makings of a B2C Classic, #1 Welcome All vs #2 North Henry. Only one will walk away with a leg up in the SCFL and the race for the Frank Ski Bowl. Jonesboro Ducks are starting to make their presence known with a solid win over Jonesboro in the pouring down rain. Gwinnett Chargers are on a mission, they are trying to get in the conversation for the Frank Ski Bowl and they have issued a challenge to all the top teams out there. They started off very well by winning big against Union City this past weekend. If they get a matchup against one of the SCFL elites (Fayette, Tucker, Welcome All, North Henry) this will prove to be a big game because if the Chargers take a loss it is possible that the Frank Ski Youth Bowl committee will start talking about doing something it has never done before. Either expanding or taking two teams from the same league. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. If you look at the Johns Creek they might have arguably the best player in the State with Chris Hinton playing the DE/TE position. The kid is a animal, scary combination of size, power and he is a freakish athlete. Very similar to Realus “Boo Man” George of Duluth (8th Grade) except he is taller.BIG GAME READY
