The GFL has proved to be the most exciting league this year at the 14U Division and this weekend won’t be any different as Duluth takes on Parkview. Two of the better defensive players in the country will try to lead their team to the next round. Justin Mascoll (Parkview) can dominate from the second level and against the pass. Realus “Boo Man” George is just a mean guy that wants to destroy everything in his path. Tell the parents to get the Epson Salt bath ready as both teams will need it after this one. Even though that will be a good game everyone in the GFL is thinking that it will be Grayson and South Gwinnett in the championship. Starr’s Mill continue to play at a high level as Rico Frye has hit another zone right now as it seems as if every time he touches the ball he is looking to take it to the house. As a team Starrs Mill has stepped their game up as they are now in the same conversation as Rome and Sequoyah. Basically saying that they have their eyes on the GMSAA Championship. Central Dekalb Jaguars and the Glenwood Panthers meet up in a throw back of the old MAYFL days when the league produced the first 8th Grader to be offered a D1 Scholorship and coaches used to come from all over to hear about the talent in this league. Times have changed and the powers of teams have shifted but these two teams still play at a high level no matter what league they are in. It will be a good one at Wade Walker this weekend.
