What a game by the Grayson Rams, they dominated in every aspect of the game. It has to one of the most impressive victories since North Henry in 2008 in the Frank Ski Youth Bowl. Prince from Grayson might be the player of the year in the GFL as he always showed up in big games. In the championship game he was at his best with two touchdowns and a hit that sent a message through the stadium that the former #1 ranked team in the state was in for a long game if they were not prepared to get physical. Now they are the #1 ranked team in the state and with GA Thoroughbreds taking a loss in the ultra competitive SEC League the only team that threatens the Rams rankings are the Sequoyah Chiefs but the Chiefs will have their hands full this weekend as they take on a North Cobb team that has talent at every position. So if Sequoyah wins and Grayson has already won, wouldn’t everybody like to see theses two go at it…hmmmmm I am sure it can happen without a problem. I think the players would welcome the challenge. The Atlanta Vikings and Glenwood meet up in the championship game of the SEC and it will be a physical one as both teams are physical. If you can’t stand to see hard hitting football this might not be the game for you to watch because it will be very, very physical. Ben Hill and Jonesboro will look to seal the deal in their championship games. Its looking more and more like this game could be a possibility for the grudge match in the Youth Bowl if the Youth Bowl goes with a 14U for their grudge match game.
