Hiram and Gunnar Faulk looked great this past weekend as they were able to beat South Paulding convincingly. Now they have to turn their attention to a very solid McEachern team. UPSET ALERT!!! Georgia Thoroughbreds will have their work cut out for them as they go head to head with Glenwood. With Coach Corey back coaching the 14U team at Glenwood we know that they will be physical. If the Thoroughbreds don’t come out and establish themselves as the number one team in the B2C Polls early then they will be in trouble all game long. Shiloh is back rolling again after playing in the YFA for a year, Coach Anthony has his kids playing at a highest level as they navigate through the hardest schedule in the 14U Division. This matchup is going to be overlooked as Duluth is playing better than Peachtree Ridge but look for a battle that will be classic as OL Bryce Jones from Peachtree Ridge and DL Realus “Boo Man” George from Duluth go against each other in the trenches. These two are considered as top five at their particular position. Rico Frye is back on a roll as he looks to tear the GMSAA apart as Stars Mill rolled along this past weekend. Another game that will go under the radar is Parkview AS going against Brookwood AS. Brookwood is well coached but they are going to have to figure something out for one of the best linebackers in the country as the LB from Parkview is a problem. I usually don’t say this but congrats goes out to the GFL schedule makers for the 14U Division this year as all the top teams are playing each other. Cambridge will take on Milton which will be a very good rivalry game, look for this one to be physical early.
