2013 US Army All American Bowl Recap

SAN ANTONIO, TX — I hope that you had a chance to experience one of the top high school football all star bowl games in the nation!  This year’s bowl featured 100 of the best high school football prospects.  All of these athletes had very successful youth, middle, and high school football careers, and were highly recruited by excellent Division 1 schools such as LSU, Alabama, Louisville, Auburn, and Ohio State, just to name a few.  This bowl has a history of producing some of the NFL’s best talent, such as Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, DeSean Jackson, Andrew Luck and Marcus Lattimore, along with over 800 of the bowl’s participants have played for various NCAA universities and collegese.

These gridiron titans were put on a national stage to display their talent.  There were many who played well, but these players had a great showing:


Max Browne

Kendall Fuller

  • Ranked 18th by the ESPN 150
  • Very athletic, great speed and size



Frank Herron

Defensive End, committed to LSU

  • Hometown: Memphis, Tennessee
  • High School: Memphis Central
  • Height: 6’4, Weight: 236lbs
  • Ranked 82nd by the ESPN 300
  • Very strong



Jeremy Johnson

Quarterback, committed to Auburn

  • Hometown: Montgomery, Alabama
  • High School: Carver
  • Height: 6’6, Weight: 215 lbs
  • Ranked 94th nationally by
  • Very patient and able to move the pocket with ease



Derrick Henry

Running Back, committed to LSU

James Quick
