Top 15 Programs in B2C Era

Top 15 Programs in B2C Era

Naming the top 15 programs is very difficult.  Some have been around for a long time, a la Tucker Lions and some have just started their journey like the Atlanta Ducks.  Over the past coupe of years some have been able to groom players and make them high school ready and those players have went on to not only become key contributors in high school but also very productive players in college.  When we looked at each program we looked at a couple of things

  • Is it professionally ran (you know what we mean)
  • When a player came into their program did they get better
  • Coaching
  • Parent and crowd participation
  • Winning
  • Have their players continued to make an impact at the high school and college level

With all that said lets get to the top 15 programs

Grayson Rams

Right now they are on another level.  Their coaches are involved from the youth level all the way to the high school level.  You know they have a good program who the head high school coach was calling the plays until he just recently took a job at Clemson.  They win at the youth level, they win at the high school level and they produce big time players.

Welcome All Panthers

In the B2C era they have to be considered the top program.  They are competitive at every age group.  They just recently had 15 kids sign with Power 5 school last year.  They are one of the few parks that can say they have a Heisman winner, NFL MVP and USA Today Player of the Year.

McEachern Indians

From the top to the bottom they are ran very well and they produce wins on the field.  They have so much talent come through that program it is scary.  Coach Hockman has done a great building his program.

Central Dekalb Jaguars

Probably the most popular program due to the fact so many of their players are successful at the high school and college level.  When they travel they are deep.  Continues to put a competitive team on the field each year.

Peachtree Ridge

Coaches at the Ridge do a great job teaching football.  Possible that they might end up with the #2 rated QB in the country when the new high school rankings come out in Davis Mills

North Henry Tigers

When you go back and look through at the names that have played at North Henry it looks like a who’s who.  They were the first program to have 15 players go D1 off of one team.  This year they have two players that will be on everyones watch list for preseason All Americans for their class and that is Chris Rodriguez and Tru Thompson.  One of the best facilities in the country.

Acworth Warriors/Atlanta Vikings

Acworth has been around FOREVER!!!  They have coaches that have been coaching at one age group longer than most of the new coaches have been alive.  Recently they just had their first group win a high school state championship.  They are also the program in where the #1 player in the country Trevor Lawrence (C/O 2018) played his youth ball.  The Atlanta Vikings, what more can be said about the originators.  At their height they were flashy, games stayed packed and they were very competitive on the field at every age group.  They were so good they didn’t have to travel as they were able to get Deion Sanders to come to them.  Coach Tim and Coach Jermyn have been steady as leaders in their programs.  Now with Coach Jermyn going back down to 6U that should get the program back in the right direction. In two years if they keep it up then they will be back to being considered as one of the top three programs in the southeast.

Cedar Grove

Coaching, Coaching, Coaching…silently Cedar Grove has become one of the top MS programs in the country.  Their development of players shows up on the high school level as they have multiple Top 100 prospects a year.  They have the most dominating WR in the country in Jaden Haselwood (C/O 2019)

Tucker Lions

50 years of excellence.  Multiple players in college, multiple players in the NFL, multiple All State and All American players.  One of the best places to play youth football in the country.

Flat Rock

All they do is win.  They have produced players that has went on to become productive players in high school and college.

Mill Creek

If you want to talk about coaching then you have to look at this program.  They don’t have to many big names that come through their program but by the time they hit HS they are ready to go.  Last years HS team went to the GHSA semifinals with a team full of players that aren’t considered to be the most popular players.  This year they will more than likely do the same.  On the youth level they will continue to produce wins and develop players.

North Paulding

Great program!  Great Coaches from top to bottom, very good talent.

Decatur Army/GA Thorobreds

Decatur Army even though they are a young program has won at every level.  Great parent support, focus is on winning but more on the kids enjoying the youth football experience.  GA Thoro has an exceptional leader in Terry Beckham, the man knows football.  Has always had a team in the running for the Frank Ski Bowl and the AAU National Championships.  This year will be his best one ever.

Atlanta Ducks

We already know we are going to take some heat for this because they are a new program but they deserve to be in the top 15.  First year out the gates and they took the youth football world by storm.  Great parent support at the games and they have must see talent at every age group.  11U team is the most talented in the country.  Look for them to threaten the record set by Welcome All and North Henry with 15 kids signing with a Power 5 school.  Saulamon Evans, Terrance Love and Jelani Thurman have a chance to be special.  #1 player in the country special, if things work in their favor.

Dacula Falcons

Few programs win consistently year in and year out.  From top to bottom they are competitive, have great parent support and if you ever get to catch a game at “The Nest” you won’t be disappointed as the stands are packed and loud.
