7th Grade Team Maryland takes their win streak to FBU Nationals

SAN ANTONIO, TX — One team, one goal, one mission, one championship.  The 7th Grade FBU (Football University) team from Maryland had their sights on winning the National Championship.  Out of 64 teams, only one was left to raise the trophy.

Team Maryland has been focused from the start.  Managed and organized by Mike Anderson of Grass Roots Football, coached by Terrance Byrd and his staff, this team was hungry for the title.  The roster was full of some of Maryland’s best athletes:

Their journey to the Alamodome was full of landslide victories, defeating Team North Carolina by 30 points, Team Central Virginia by 50 points, Team Chicago by 30 points, and Team Massachusetts by 22 points.  Teams in the Final Four of the FBU National Championship did not stand a chance against Team Maryland, as they brought the heat to San Antonio to win a National Title.  Congratulations Team Maryland!
