Athlete (Football Position) of the Year Finalist

Montavion Brooks – Jonesboro Gators (14U Division)
Can put this player at any position on the field and he will excel. Once he came in at QB and helped win the game against another top ranked team. He can play corner, running back, quarterback and you can even move him down in the box to play linebacker in a nickel or dime package because he is such a sure tackler.

Cole Gilley – Starrs Mill (8th Grade)
You can put Cole at any position and he will produce for you. Whether you need some hard earned yards or you need someone to run your offense at QB, Cole can get the job done. The most important thing about Cole is that he is a leader on the field as his unselfishness helped open up holes for Rico Frye all year long as he embraced the role of being a lead blocker.

Jackson Reese – Sequoyah Chiefs (8th Grade)
Jackson is just a flat out old school football player, he might as well be playing with a leather helmet. Whatever you need him to do he can get it done. He is physical to a point where it is almost unbelievable. Ended his youth football career on a high note as his team ended up winning their third straight GMSAA Championship.
