With the huge announcement by Frank Ski to involve the other age groups into the Youth Bowl, it changes everything so this week let’s talk about the scenarios. If things were start today the B2C Championship would be a monster for this age group. With the announcement from Frank Ski involving the 10U Division in the Youth Bowl tournament it is going to be a great postseason for this age group. Imagine a first round consisting of Atlanta Ducks vs College Park Rams, North Henry vs GA Thoroughbreds, White Bray vs Mill Creek, North Paulding vs DYJ . As of right now that’s how the brackets would break down as you have to win your championship to guarantee your spot. Of course all this could change because the playoffs have to be played. 4 time B2C Championship Series Finalist Acworth won’t be in the tournament this year as they will be attending a tournament out of state. B2C wishes them the best as it will be there last time paying together before middle school and can’t wait to be a guest speaker at their awards banquet.
Monkey Wrench
Atlanta Vikings are a team that can compete with the best of them because they have a RB that can go!! The coaches have been doing it for a while and we always know to never count them out because they get better over time. South Columbus is the other sleeper team because they have a game changer behind center. He is a dual threat who can run and pass very well. If he gets hot during any one of these games then he can lead his team to a victory.
Sleeper Team
Mill Creek, very well coached, they have a phenomenal player in Caleb Downs. B2C recently saw the young man at the Peachtree Ridge vs Norcross high school game and mentioned how he can’t wait to play in the B2C Championship Series this year. Whenever a team is motivated to win like Mill Creek is then they are hard to beat.
Champions
Atlanta Ducks will win a close one against North Henry 21-19 in the a epic battle that will become a B2C Instant Classic. For all of Coach Spins (North Henry) bravado there is actually a message in there and that is #0 for North Henry is for real. #0 will score and with them finally using him in multiple positions it will make it very hard for the Atlanta Ducks to adjust their scheme to him on the fly. I will even go as far as saying North Henry will lead at halftime 19-14 but eventually the Ducks will rally and score and will rely on their defense as North Henry gets inside the 10 yard line but they aren’t able to punch it in. Coach Brandon (Atlanta Ducks) announces that he is proud of his boys on a major radio station, NBC 11 Alive does a follow up story on how they are considered the best youth team in history of B2C and the kids yell Born To Compete.com as ever school in the Atlanta Area starts to try and figure out a way to bring the monster DE/TE Jelani “Tank” Thurman to their school as he looks like the second coming of Justin Mascoll and Lorenzo Carter all rolled into one. Star QB Terrance Love accepts now focuses on the B2C All Star game and also makes comments about going on the B2C College Trip.
