With the huge announcement by Frank Ski to involve the other age groups into the Youth Bowl, it changes everything so this week let’s talk about the scenarios. With the announcement from Frank Ski is taking 8 teams per age group in the 12U Division in the Youth Bowl tournament it is going to be a great postseason for this age group. Imagine a first round consisting of Atlanta Tigers vs California Park, Fayette vs Sharpsburg, Riverdale vs Gresham, East Metro vs Welcome All. As of right now that’s how the brackets would break down as you have to win your championship to guarantee your spot. Of course all this could change because the playoffs have to be played. GFL and GMSAA play in the FBU All Star Tournament that is why they aren’t included in this scenario.
If Dacula or Parkview would accept their bid they both have a legitimate chance at winning it all the Frank Ski Bowl. Cody Brown from Parkview might be the best player in the 12U Division
Riverdale Blackhawks, they have talent and they can play with anybody.
Fayette County over Atlanta Tigers 24-6. Atlanta Tigers are very good but they have one glaring issue and that is Fayette County defensive line. It will be hard to move the ball on Fayette so they will go to the pass and that is when Cam McDowell will be playing man to man against their best corner and he won’t lose. On offense the combination of Shaq (Fayette RB) and McDowell will be to much as they will milk the clock while scoring TD’s and building a lead. At the end of the game Cam McDowell comes out of the game as a player to watch and has received national attention from Rivals.com writer Woody Wommack and is considered as a player to watch in the future. Coach Fred retires and cries in front of the cameras which is looped on NBC 11 Alive Sports and parent Michal Ancrum makes comments that start a national debate on a major radio station as Frank Ski laughs and also makes a huge announcement that will have a lasting impact on the Atlanta metro area.
