Honorable Mention

With the huge announcement by Frank Ski to involve the other age groups into the Youth Bowl, it changes everything so this week let’s talk about the scenarios.  If things were start today the B2C Championship would be a monster for this age group.  With the announcement from Frank Ski involving the 9U Division in the Youth Bowl tournament it is going to be a great postseason for this age group.  Imagine a first round consisting of Tucker vs College Park,  Atlanta Ducks vs Dekalb Yellow Jackets, Welcome All vs Smyrna Seahawks,  McEachern Indians Blue vs Buford NLN.  As of right now that’s how the brackets would break down as you have to win your championship to guarantee your spot.  Of course all this could change because the playoffs have to be played.

Monkey Wrench

If Decatur Army gets in they will mess up the matchup that everyone is expecting.  For so long they have feel like they have been the red headed step child of the 9U Division with Tucker, WAP and Atlanta Ducks getting all the attention.  The coaching has improved and most importantly they have a line that they can run behind.  They have been playing together for years so they have what all great offensive lines have and that is chemistry.  If they win the GAD1 league it will change everything!!!

Sleeper Team

Smyrna Seahawks can put up points on anyone.  They arguably have the best coaching staff in the state.  They run a multiple set with a balanced attack.  As of right now because of their style of play, they stand the best chance to beat the #1 team in the country the Tucker Lions.

 

Champions

Tucker over Atlanta Ducks in what could have been a close game but the turnovers will cost the Ducks.  Tucker wins the game after predicting a victory on a major radio station earlier in the week and then yells out Born To Compete.com as their picture starts trending on NBC 11 Alive Sports social media platforms.
