The matchup between #1 Duluth and #2 Parkview was a physical game. Duluth showed that they are still the best team in the state as Jalen Williams (QB) and Deuce Geralds (DE/TE) made timely plays all night long. Duluth would win the game 8-0. McEachern is now the #2 team in the state as their offense is very high powered. They are averaging over 40 points per game. Crawford Long and Eddie White are in the conversation to make the B2C Championship Series as they have both started their playoffs and both teams look dominant. Salem, Dutchtown and Liberty still have a shot to make it in the B2C Championship Series depending how the rest of the season goes. Salem has a big semifinal matchup with Cedar Grove to see who advances to the Dekalb Championship. Whitewater makes their statement as they dominate their league and walk away with the county championship. Callaway, Carver Rd, Kennedy and Garden Newnan have all be very competitive. In area that consistently produces elite talent, Carver Rd has a special talent in Semaj Fluellyn. The athletic defensive lineman is the real deal. Calhoun might be the best team in the state that no one talks about. Alec Upshaw has all the potential to be a top 100 player in the country when he is a Junior in high school.
B2C Championship Series is November 26-28. Teams are selected to participate for the State Championship. B2C is a free invite only tournament.
