Whitewater pulled off the upset that many people didn’t think could happen against Flat Rock but it did happen and Turman Award candidate Mike Wright Jr as always led his team to a victory. It seems like after the FSG this past summer Mike Wright has hit another level. Grayson has now cracked into the top 21 as they beat Dacula in a competitive game. Now they have one more week to prepare for #2 ranked North Gwinnett. Hillgrove and McEachern will be the game to watch this week as everyone in Powder Springs GA will be in attendance. Two high profile QB’s in Bailey (Hillgrove) and Lee (McEachern) will look to light it up with their high powered offenses. Last years game was a good one, this year will be better. North Forsyth and Vickery Creek finally match up in the battle of the un-beatens in North Georgia. Both teams have offenses that can put up points but in different ways. In North Foryth gets down early to Vickery Creek its going to make for a very tough game for North Forsyth. Calhoun vs Carterville is going to be interesting as Calhoun are the defending champs in their county but Cartersville has Tee Webb QB and Webb can get the job done. Mill Creek is going to have their hands full this Saturday as Norcross is no slouch. They might have arguably the best running back in the GFL. Campbell and Pebblebrook is a rivalry that will be one to watch as both teams can put up points and they have outstanding playmakers. The rivalry is so deep that in the B2C 7v7 Tournament this summer they were going at it like they had pads on.
