This will be one of the best weekends in football as the B2C 8th Grade State Championship Playoff picture takes shape.  The game everyone has been waiting to see id now here and that is #3 Tucker vs #4 Bethune.  Both teams have been playing at a very high level as both offensives have been putting up video game numbers and both teams have B2C All Americans that can be considered some of the better players in the country at their position.  Winner gets a birth into the B2C State Championship Playoffs, this should be a classic.  Parkview and Buford looks to be the best game in the GFL.  Buford and the “Buford Way” will have them in a position to win the game and Coach Ken Burge is starting to step into historical status if he is able to win another GFL Championship.  Parkview has Terian Williams who is one of the leaders for the Turman Award given to the best player in youth football.  Brookwood takes their winning streak against a familiar foe this weekend as they have to play Peachtree Ridge who has two of the most talented players in the country.  Alex DIggs can get it done in the backfield for Brookwood as he is a special back.  On the other side Peachtree Ridge has Chad Mascoe Jr (QB) and DeNylon Morrissette (WR) the best deep ball combination in the country.  You can make a great argument for both players being considered as the best players in the country for their position and both are up there for the Turman Award.  Carver Road and Rehoboth is going to be a special game as these two teams have went at it for the past couple of years.  This game will be no different as now it is for the Central Georgia Championship.  APS Middle School has their semifinals, which means they are one week away from the mega matchup with KIPP Vision and KIPP Metro.  Both teams are loaded with talent.  Both teams want the invitation the State Championship Playoffs.  Only one team is going to get it.

#2 Brookwood vs #17 Peachtree Ridge

#3 Tucker vs #4 Bethune

#8 Buford vs #11 Parkview

#12 Carver Road vs Rehoboth

#21 Marietta vs Lassiter
