Another season is upon us and there are some very good teams at 12U / 7th Grade this season. Falcons United won the B2C State Championship but they have had some major changes in coaches and players but as long as they still have Hayes Maginnis (QB) and Roscoe Hayes (WR) they have a chance both of those players have the ability to be one of the all time B2C greats. East Metro were the State Finalist last year and with the development of Deron Benson they will be a lot better as they are one of the few teams that can put points on the scoreboard in the passing game. Big Tim Harvey is a monster in the trenches. Adryan Cole has a chance to be up for Player of the Year.
Atlanta Bulldogs has loaded up with talent, Quinterrius Gipson can score in all facets of the game. DJ Jacobs has the ability to be one of the best linebackers this age group has ever seen. Grayson Rams shocked everyone last season when they beat Duluth in the championship. Preston Glasco put on a show all season long, Grayson is well coached and will be looking to defend their GFL Championship and possibly make it into the Frank Ski Youth Bowl. RDU has talent and players with championship experience. This can be a good year for them if they are able to put it together. Milton Eagles have a monster lined up out wide in Grant Havilland. The versatile TE can put his hand in the dirt and help in the running game or line up out wide and become a terror in the passing game. Stonecrest Spartans have a chance to be a sleeper team with the new pieces they have added. Nigel Newkirk is special, they have a very good coaching staff and they have great team chemistry. Don’t be shocked if by the end of the season they are in discussion for being considered the top team in the state. Fairburn Flames probably has the most dynamic player in the age group outside of Gipson from ABA and that is Eric Paul Jr. He is one of the few players that people will pay to watch him play. Not only is he a playmaker but when the game is on the line he shows up big!
Then there is Tucker…The Tucker Lions led by Coach Brandon Henry, they are currently the #1 team in the state. Christian “Pancake” Hunter, last years B2C Player of the Year has gotten better. The defensive lineman is a problem for any team they play because he can play outside or inside on the defensive line. Then turn around and give you a TD on offense. Maddox Henderson and Christian Copeland were already recognized as two of. the better running backs in this age group. Now with the with the addition of Darius “DJ” White a former B2C Award winner they will form a great backfield. King Parrom and London Goggans at WR will make big plays all year long as Jace German runs the show at QB.

Youth Bowl
Semifinals
Tucker, East Metro, Grayson and Fairburn
With Tucker, East Metro, Falcons United, Atlanta Bulldogs and Stonecrest Spartans all in one league it’s going to be interesting to see who makes it out with the championship. So it’s possible the Youth Bowl will take 2 from that league. Grayson and Fairburn look like locks right now if they win their league. The team with the outside chance will be Milton as they will probably dominate the GMSAA.
Championship
Tucker vs East Metro
Everyone will get a chance to see just how good Eric Paul Jr from Fairburn is in the semifinals but East Metro will get the win and advance to the championship. Tucker will use their three headed monster at RB to win a game that will be a classic. Tucker will win in Overtime 20-14 and get their suits ready for the Gala
