Last year was the best B2C Championship ever at the 6U age group which saw the GA Thoroughbreds pull off the win against ABA in the B2C State Championship Game. Now the teams are at 7U, another year of coaching, another year of the kids growing and developing. ABA looks to be the team that is playing well early. GA Thoroughbreds usually don’t hit their stride till midseason. Tucker is…well it’s Tucker Nation so they will always be physical and run down hill. Acworth has a chance to win the NWGYFL. Last year this team was 3 minutes away from going to the championship game if not for an amazing run by ABA’s and B2C Player of the Year El Toro. Last year Gainesville won a 3 OT thriller against Flowery Branch to win the NGYFA. This year we will have to see if they can do the same. Grayson has a great thing going with that group of young men. They went undefeated in the GFL and pretty much were in control the entire GFL championship game against a very solid Buford team. Winning the Buford way by playing great defense and running the ball.
Prediction
B2C Championship
GA Thoroughbreds over Acworth Warriors
Sleeper Team
Georgia Supreme Gladiators
If anyone can pull off the upset it is GSA. Very well coached team and great organizational support. They look good early, just depends how they look when it gets cold outside.
