Last year North Henry become only the second team ever to come out of the play in game to win a championship, the other was McDonough in 2012. North Henry now has three in a row (5U, 6U and 7U), last year they looked beatable. This year they look unbeatable but only time will tell. The Atlanta Bulldogs are a very impressive team. They can throw and they can pass. They can also beat every team at their age group except one and that is North Henry. ABA might have the early B2C player of the year with eh QB. When it gets cold outside during championship season can that passing game still be as productive. Acworth continues to be one of the best teams in the state as last year was considered a down year for them but they still made it to the B2C Championship Semifinals after beating a tough Parkview and Ringold team.
The B2C Championship Series has been extended to two weekends, December 1-3 (State Semifinals) and December 9 -10 (State Championship). Good luck to all the teams.
North Henry over Atlanta Bulldogs
Atlanta Vikings and Parkview
One of the most storied programs in the state of GA has two flagship teams this year and they are one of them. They are going to be physical and coached up. That formula can win some ball games during championship season. Last Parkview was happy to be in B2C as they seemed to be taking the environment in as Acworth beat them 20-7. This year they know what to expect as they are looking to make a run at the title.
