COBB COUNTY, GA — The Future Stars Game took its talents to Cobb County for a day full of drills, speed checks, and 1 on 1 battles. These are the youth athletes that stood above the rest:
Tavion Crudger
7th Grade RB – Tavion is an all purpose back that will be deadly in todays no huddle offense. Every elusive, quick and fluid athlete that is equally explosive taking a handoff or catching passes out of the backfield.
Isiah Grant
7th Grade TE/LB – Grant is a kid already standing 6 ft tall with a great build. He is physical enough to be an imposing linebacker. With excellent speed for his size and very soft hands he is a matchup nightmare as a TE for any defense.
Nicholas Grier
7th Grade OL – Grier is a kid on this list for what he could be one day. Not as developed as other linemen his age, but his raw ability is second to none. He is a kid with a little bit of coaching will be a force on the OL.
Trevor Lawrence
8th Grade QB – Standing 6-3, running a sub 5 in the 40, with a great arm, great touch, good football IQ, and toughness to stand tall in the pocket, athletic ability to break a tackle and break a long run on a scramble, Trevor is a star at QB. He is a rare breed that you don’t see often.
Jackson Reese
8th Grade S/LB – Reese is a big, physical and athletic defender that is an ideal safety hybrid for those defenses using their safety in run support. Athletic and fast enough to cover in open field and big and physical enough to play in the box.
Omar Sinclair
8th Grade CB – Omar is a physical and talented cover corner. He is very physical at the line of scrimmage with excellent cover skills and very good technique for a corner his age.
