ROME, GA — Rome has a great class of middle school football players who will do well on a big stage. Check out the athletes who had great showings at the Future Stars Game Tryouts:
Adam Anderson
8th Grade DE/WR – Anderson may be the most raw talent to ever fill this space after a camp. But standing 6-3 and running a 4.8 with excellent natural athletic ability, he has potential to be a dominant player in the future. He could be your next Jadaveon Clowney as a defensive end or your next Terrell Owens as a dominant physical wide receiver.
Brandon Bennett
6th Grade DL – Brandon is extremely athletic and quick for a 242lbs 6th grader. He has great size that makes him a disruptive force, but he has quickness to get down the line and make plays from the DL.
Jamarcus Chatman
8th Grade DE – Jamarcus is a rush end with and explosive first step and a desire and work ethic second to none. As an end he is quick enough to blow by you and determined enough to get physical and go thru you. He is one of the top rush defensive ends in the south.
Aiden Gaines
6th Grade OL – Aiden is a very polished, big and physical offensive lineman with a bright future. He has a great attitude to be a force in the running game and the physical nature to back it up.
Marquis Glanton
7th Grade Athlete – Glanton is just a fluid, dynamic athlete that could excel at several positions. With excellent speed and cover skills he has the potential to be a dynamic corner one day.
Jontavion Hammond
8th Grade DB – Hammond is a very physical and fast player. At 174lbs he is big enough to be a bruising safety, and already running a 4.8 he is fast and athletic enough to be a physical man corner.
