Georgia Youth Track and Field Rankings 4/25/2013

  1. Tia Jones (Unattached – Marietta, Georgia) – Tia Jones holds on to her number one spot for another week.  She continues to win.
  2. Sydney Harris (Jackrabbit Track Club – Suwannee, Georgia) – Sydney comes in at number two for the second week.  Her focus is being the best track athlete that she can be.
  3. Kennedy Simon (Gazelle Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – Congrats to Kennedy on another great meet at the Georgia Middle School Track and Field Championships.  Her speed earned her the Born to Compete Player of the Week Award.
  4. Tenae’ Grisby (Unattached) – The Georgia Middle School Track and Field Championships brought out one of the best performances from this track star.  Her long stride helps her steal the deal for the win.
  5. Jordyn Baxter (All Heart Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – Jordyn is ready to take her speed to another level.
  6. Nacari Williams (Exchange Zone Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – Nacari is a true competitor.  Her competition is ready to beat her, but Nacari will hold strong, and compete well, as always.
  7. Trinity Flagler (All Heart Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – Trinity’s speed helps her excel in the long jump.
  8. Kennedy Quarles (Gazelle Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – Kennedy helped lead her team to victory in the 4x100M.
  9. Shani Simon (Sapphire-Ruff Riders Track Club – Stone Mountain, Georgia) – A fierce competitor on the track.
  10. Sydney Augmon (Runnin Mustangs Track Club – Snellville, Georgia) – Sydney will be on the youth track and field radar for this season.

  1. Antuane Dennard (Runnin Mustangs Track Club – Snellville, Georgia) – Antuane shined again at the Georgia Middle School Track and Field Championships. Congrats!
  2. Sam Ellis (Renfroe Middle School) – All I can say is WOW!  Sam is a great example of how you should properly pace yourself when you run long distance events.  His kick at the end is strong, leading him to nothing but first place medals during the Georgia Middle School Track and Field Championships.
  3. Jeffery Uzzell (Eagles Landing Christian Academy) – Jeffery, Jeffery, Jeffery! The sprints were stacked with some of the best track and field athletes that Georgia has to offer, and Jeffery beat them all, hands down.
  4. Methias Carter (Jackrabbit Track Club – Suwannee, Georgia) – Keep up the great work in the 200M, 400M, and 800M.
  5. William Simon (Gazelle Track Club – Atlanta, Georgia) – William is still hanging in with Tauheed, as the friendly rivals prepare for summer track.
  6. Tauheed Ferguson (Jackrabbit Track Club – Suwannee, Georgia) – An overall intense competitor.  I cannot wait to see him progress during the season.
  7. Andre Dennard (Runnin Mustangs Track Club – Snellville, Georgia) – Very strong with great technique in the discus and shot put.
  8. Jordan Jones (Peachtree City Flash Track Club – Peachtree City, Georgia) – Rest will benefit Jordan greatly.  Great job at the Georgia Middle School Track and Field Championships.
  9. Noah Alleyne (Unattached – Atlanta, Georgia) – Noah will make plenty of noise during the summer track season.
  10. Aeron Gresham (Dynamic Speed Elite Track Club – Conyers, Georgia) – The Dynamic Speed Elite Track Club has a great athlete.  Look for Aeron to do well this summer.
