Hi, what are you looking for?

Isaac Okoro: Big Man On Campus

Sitting talking to Isaac is like you are almost talking to an adult. His maturity is on a level of a high school junior. That says a lot due to the fact we are speaking about a kid that is with the Class of 2020.

Isaac has been an upcoming player of the past couple of years but this past basketball season was his breakout season to the basketball world even though Born To Compete has known about Isaac talents for a while now. When asking him to describe his game this Forward talks about how he really enjoys watching Dewayne Wade play. How he wills his teams to victories. He him self plays like Wade as he is able to get to the bucket anytime he wants to and even though he plays down in the paint his Coach puts Isaac in the high post to take advantage of his passing ability.  Then did I forget to mention the 6’3 baller can make you come out of your seat with a big time dunk.

When asking Isaac about his favorite game he brought up a time where he scored 45 points. He said “the rim just seemed so big that day, I was able to get any shot I wanted”. After that 45 point outburst Isaac had all the confidence in himself and attention from other teams to start taking notice of him.

College is something that Isaac has in his sights as he is already evaluating schools. He likes how Syracuse plays the Zone. He thinks that Kentucky is pure energy when they hit the court and he admires how Kansas and Duke play so aggressively on every single play. Who knows one day this student of the game will be a student at one of those schools mentioned as we do believe that no matter what school he chooses when his time comes Isaac will be more than prepared to accept the challenge of being the big man on campus.
