After a great game against McEachern there is a new #1 in town and that is the North Paulding Wolfpack. The panel is almost split down the middle on Grayson and North Paulding. Rome is on the outside looking in right now but the playoffs are around the corner. After the huge announcement last week on the B2C Youth Sports Show it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens as the National Rankings for the top players in the country is about to be released. APS has three schools that can win the championship but all the focus is on Crawford Long and MLK. Decals County has 4 teams ranked in the B2C Prime 21, that is a testament to the talent that is in that county. Tucker led by Coach Walker still looks like the team to beat but Stephenson has some talent and Renfroe and Cedar Grove don’t know how to lose. Calhoun might have put up one of the best championship performances since last year when Grayson played South Gwinnett in the GFL Championship. They dominated in every facet of the game. Brannon Spector from Calhoun has played himself onto the B2C Prime Player of the Year watch list. He had a great season and then with his performance in the championship game he earned every vote he has gotten. Also don’t be surprised to see North Gwinnett ruffle some feathers in the GFL Playoffs, since the adjustment they made they have looked like a totally different team. They have two very good linebackers that have championship attitudes.
