CHARLOTTE, NC — Eastway Middle School has a hidden gem on its football practice fields. The North Carolina Oregon Ducks Youth Sports, also known as the NCYFL Eastway Ducks is a fairly new program that was started during the 2012 youth football season, by the United Youth Football League (UYFL) and North Carolina Youth Football Optimist League.
The NCYFL has been recognized as one of the top youth football leagues not only in the state of North Carolina, but across the country and has been recognized in many major publications including USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
North Carolina Oregon Ducks Youth Sports provides opportunities for our youth to learn and develop sportsmanship, integrity, character, social skills, self esteem, self motivation, discipline and life-long friendships. Their goal is simple: To build a sense of community among our families and friends. The Kelly green and gold Ducks provide mentorship programs to all youth athletes by promoting the importance of academics and physical fitness through hard work through a structured team environment.
Their top priority is to increase the number of future leaders that can publicly present positive attitudes and behaviors that will better everyone’s tomorrow. For more information about this program, visit www.leaguelineup.com/ncoregonducks.
