Terrance Love is one of the top quarterbacks nationally in the class of 2023. The 12U Atlanta Ducks signal caller has led them to an undefeated season (6-0) and a unprecedented 5 B2C Championships. The 5’11, 150-pound leader of the offense is carrying the powerful Ducks attack to 34.2 points per game in 2017, second most in the YFA.
Love is elusive with his legs while maintaining the down field presence needed to make conversions in the passing game. One of Love’s biggest attributes on film is the ability to create something out of nothing by scrambling to hit big plays. He’s also making big plays off the field and in the classroom. The Renaissance Middle standout has straight A’s once again this semester to maintain his impressive 4.0 GPA. His favorite subjects currently are math and science.
When asked about his biggest moment of the season, Love talked up his team’s defining win. “Definitely the North Henry game, we were down 12-6 and had to battle”, Love explained. And a battle it was of undefeated YFA squads and two of the best teams in the nation. Terrance Love threw the game winning touchdown pass late in the 3rd quarter as Atlanta Ducks went up 18-12, ultimately the final score.
Love is poised to progress into a high profile recruit, but schools such as Georgia Tech, Clemson, and LSU are favorites of his that he dreams of playing at on Saturday’s in the future. With the frame, talent, and work ethic of an elite youth quarterback; it’s only a matter of time before schools are dreaming of Terrance Love.
