This was the last year of dominance for the storied MAYFL, as after this year things would change.  Everyone can make their claim as to what happened or what went wrong and we wont discuss that here.  The focus for this article is that Ben Hill and CD sent the MAYFL out with a bang.

Everyone knew how big this game was going to be.  No one expected it to be this good.  Ben Hill came out with fire as Jeff Hubbard put on a show to start the game but in the end CD would find a way to score 27 points with 6 minutes left in the game.  It was a magical night as over 2,000 people packed Ben Hill park.  It was to a point where you couldn’t even see the famed Ben “Hill” because of all the people.  A month later the two teams would put on a similar show as they met again in the MAYFL Championship giving the MAYFL one last hurrah.
