U11 Boys Benefica win big at the Savannah Cup

SAVANNAH, GA — The U11 Boys Benefica soccer team traveled down to Savannah, Georgia to compete in the Savannah Cup.  The boys, coached by Coach Will have been on a winning streak, and was tested during a great weekend full of great competition.  The 5th ranked U11 Benefica would have to compete against the 6th ranked Jacksonville Football Club in order to win their 9th championship in 10 tournaments.

On defense, they held strong shutting out the Jacksonville Football Club in route to a 3-0 victory, and another championship.  This victory helped the U11 Benefica secure the 4th spot nationally.

The U11 Benefica represent the Atlanta Youth Soccer Association out of Atlanta, Georgia.  This intown soccer organization provides a safe environment for kids to excel on the soccer field.  Their focus is developing skills, improving fitness, promoting positive teamwork, and fair play.  If you are interested in playing soccer for this organization, visit http://www.aysa.net
