BASEBALL

WOODINVILLE, WA — The Maltby 10U All Stars go 3-1 at the Mt. Si Classic in Issaquah.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Georgia Raiders 10U team came out here to LA and represented the state of Georgia very well. Beat some of the best teams in the USA.

FORT COLLINS, CO — The Colorado Lightning took 2nd place in the 14u D3 division in Omaha during the SlumpBuster on Sunday.

SOCCER

CHICAGO, IL — U18 Team Chicago Soccer Club Botafogo finishes 3-0 in Group play and will join FC United in the semifinals at the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships.

AUBURNDALE, FL — Florida has 10 teams remaining in the Southern Regionals tournament. U13G Ponte Vedra, U14G Sunrise, U15B Sunrise, U15B Plantation, U15G Ponte Vedra, U15G TBU, and U19B Plantation are advancing onto their Semi Finals. U17G TBU and U18B Team Boca have advanced to their Quarter Final matches, and the U19G TBU will be playing for the championship.

CHICAGO, IL — NSA Premier Inferno wins Group B and move on to the U19 Girls US Youth Soccer Region II Championships semifinals.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Congratulations to the 1997 ODP Girls team, coached by Krissy Turner and assistant coach Kylee Rossi, who fought their way to win the Region 1 ODP Championship in Kirkwood, DE. Over two weekends, they defeated West VA, NY West, Conn., and VA. In the final, they defeated EPYSA 1-0. The team will now represent NJ in the ODP National Championships in early 2014.

CHICAGO, IL — The Academy United goes undefeated in group play and will compete in the U17 Girls semifinal at the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships.

TEXAS — Texas Glory 2000 is the 12u IFA/VTD State Tournament Runner-Up. The young ones managed thier way through the 49 team field, posting a 6-2 record in bracket play.

TEXAS — 14u Texas Glory (White) was 3rd over the weekend at the IFA/VTD State Tournament in College Station.

TRACK AND FIELD

DECATUR, GA — The Mark Trail Flying Eagles registered a total of 70 athletes for the AAU National qualifier. 62 athletes qualified to compete in the Junior Olympics!

VOLLEYBALL

The U.S. Junior National Team, featuring Jordan Burgess, Kelsey Humphreys and Merete Lutz, defeated Mexico earlier today for its first win at the World Championships! They will face Russia on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. PT to close out Pool Play.
