Cameron Prescott C/O 2027 Augusta Christian High School ATH.
It’s been a massive off-season for Cameron Prescott out of Augusta Christian. The improvement has been nothing short of a success and Prescott looks to showcase that this fall.
“My offseason is going great, I have been in the weight room everyday and about to start training coming off a great week of spring practice and I’m beyond ready to showcase my versatility being able to play nickel back safety and corner. My on and off man coverage, physicality in coverage has improved as well as my IQ as far as how I line up in different zones and coverages and decisions in the run game.” Says Prescott.
“I except to have a great season on both sides of the ball but especially defense I’m the type of guy to just go get it as far as my team I expect a physical and competitive season as having one of the toughest schedules in our area.” Prescott states.
Playing in a tough schedule can be challenging but for Prescott and his team, they are up for that kind of challenge.
“I love football and what I enjoy most is being able to put on for my family, city, and being able to fulfill what God has set me to do through doing what I love.” Says Prescott.
Allowing God to guide your steps and give you the chance to play the game you love to play is certainly a huge Blessing for all and it’s clear that Prescott appreciates that and doesn’t take it for granted. This season is going to be a season to remember for him and his team if they keep doing what they are doing.
Prescott speaks on some of his goals, “My Goals for this season are to make all region and all area, Get offered by the schools that are recruiting me right now, and put my name in national talks for my team we expect nothing but a perfect season with having almost a entire new team.”
“The things that separate me from other players is my mentality and being that guy you can depend on I’m known as of most versatile back in the country by mean coaches, sights, and recruiters I’m physical, ,smart, and strong and no one is going to outwork me.” Prescott strongly states.
Some of Prescotts times that he revealed to us were some really good ones.
40 time: 4.6, Max Squat: 425, Max Bench: 215, Max Power clean: 210, Max Hang clean: 205, Max Front Squat: 345.
Those are going to be put to the field in 2024 and you can believe Prescott will have his name called on a lot this season.
