Reaching For The Top
Isaiah “Zay” Reeves C/O 2028 CB
“My off-season has gone great this summer. My cornerback coach, Coach Clay has helped me improve my technique a lot. Ive also improved off the field, eating habits, time management, and sleeping routine.” Says Reeves
Big expectations for Zay are in line and he expects nothing but huge goals to be accomplished come this fall.
“I expect myself to be able to help my team win a state championship, if that includes playing on Friday nights or even being on the practice team because I’m more worried about the team success than my pride.”
Big mentality for big talents are almost a given but sometimes there is one thing missing from that type of player. It’s the love, the true love for the game. For Reeves? No problem at all.
“The thing I enjoy about football the most is the brotherhood. Understanding that I can look to my right or left and know that they have my back is something most people wont experience in the sport they play.” Reeves states.
“My individual goals aren’t stats or highlights, but instead to grow mentally strong as a player. I know that I am the only one who can control how far I make it playing this sport.”
Reeves is 6″0 160 lbs and he attends Mountain View High school. Everyone can expect to see him shine on Friday nights.
