The Highly Powered Offense Of The Walton Raiders
Walton has averaged up to 51.7 points per game thus far in the 2023 season. It’s safe to argue that they are the best offense in the state of Georgia in high school football.
With playmakers like Walton’s 2024 QB, Jeremy Hecklinski, it sure helps to put a lot of points on the board with a guy like him leading the offense. Hecklinski is a player who is very versatile in his game, being able to extend plays by scrambling or running for the first down if need be. Hecklinski can also sling the ball as well as anyone in the state, which is a good indication of why he’s committed to Wake Forest.
The next playmaker for Walton is Cameran Loyd, who is a 2024 WR. Loyd holds offers from the likes of Navy and a few more; expect more offers to roll in very soon. Loyd is very lethal with his quick feet and can create a very tough task for defenders throughout a game. Loyd is a versatile player, which makes him very dangerous at all times on the gridiron.
Lastly, one of the main anchors on the offensive line is the 6’7, 350lb 2024 tackle for the Walton Raiders, Daniel Calhoun. Calhoun is a UGA commit who’s a very difficult player to game plan against due to the fact that he’s college-ready now and that he’s a very powerful tackle. Calhoun is a 5-star for a reason and proves it week in and week out with his ability to manhandle defensive ends, which helps his team get down the field for touchdowns.
Walton has many other playmakers; however, these three are the keys to success first and foremost in big games. Look for Walton to have continued success in the remaining 2023 schedule.
