Aiden Evans wants to be the best WR in the Nation | Class 2027
Class of 2027 athlete Aiden Evans certainly doesn’t lack confidence.
His Instagram bio emphatically states “best 12u WR in the nation.” On the field, he’s the first to let the opponent know when he makes a play.
Evans isn’t all talk, though. His game certainly backs up that confident nature.
A Dallas, Texas area prospect, Evans played in the spring with True Buzz 7v7 and is playing this fall with Dragons Elite Academy (DEA) who may have staked their claim to the best 12u team in the nation with back-to-back wins over OG Ducks (CA) and RDU (GA) in late August.
Having the chance to play against some of the nation’s top tier teams wasn’t something Evans took lightly.
“Me playing against really good teams is an opportunity for me to get better as a player and person,” Evans said. “I loved that I had the opportunity to play them.”
While his IG bio might profess that he’s the best at receiver, he’s also shown he can contribute in the other two phases of the game.
Evans returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown against RDU, and took a two point conversion attempt back on an interception against the OG Ducks.
“I am a great player by reading defenses and reading offenses, and i listen to my coaches and teammates,” Evans said. “And I go 110 percent.”
As the year progresses, Evans is hoping to continue his mantra of giving it his all.
“My goal for this season is to give it all i got and play with fundamentals,” Evans said.
Evans says he’s learned his tireless and relentless work ethic from inside his own home – from his father.
“My dad trains me,” Evans said. “He helps me improve on and off the field, he pushes me to the best I can be.”
Though he still has a couple years before high school, Evans says he will probably attend Lewisville high school outside of Dallas.
With his hard working attitude, athleticism, and ability on the field, Evans might just have a claim to that Instagram bio.
