Talking about gaining progress and getting closer to set goals is the work that’s put in during the summer and spring. The focus is high during that time in order to gear up for the season. For Marquez Sanders, it’s been a focus for sure.

“I mainly focused on my speed and my route running and it really helped durning games for scoring on the offensive side of the ball.”

Hard work in the summer and spring brings expectations and for Sanders it’s very high ones.

“My expectations about myself is to get better so I can be better in the future. My expectations for my team is for them to play harder and play more physical.” Sanders says.

Loving the game comes with a lot because you do things you enjoy but you also have to do things you may not enjoy so much.

“I can say a lot but the once thing a do love is when the wind flows on your body while your running a route or running towards the end zone.” Said Sanders

“My goal is to make it to a devision 1 CFB team and go to the NFL and make my mother proud. I want to give respect to my mom and her fiancé and my father, my uncles, my siblings, teammates and coaches for giving me encouragement to play this game I very much love.” Sanders strongly stated.
