Cole Crawford | Linebacker/Tight End Class 2027
The 2027 class in Georgia is loaded with talent, and there are a handful of 8th graders already making waves across the state.
One of them is Cartersville Middle School standout, Cole Crawford. A multi-sport star originally from Middle Georgia, Crawford is an excellent athlete with plenty of size and athleticism at 6-foot-2 185-pounds. He’s physically imposing and has potential to be a game-changing prospect at both tight end and linebacker.
The son of a long-time high school football coach, Crawford understands the game and has been around football activities throughout his young life. A tough, physical kid growing up, Crawford was a state-champion wrestler who also excels on the baseball diamond as well as a pitcher and catcher. On the gridiron, Crawford’s size and athleticism are easy to notice, and he has a natural feel for the game.
In baseball, Crawford will be played in the Perfect-Game All-American game and was named a 12U and 13U All-American in recent years. He currently plays on the outstanding East Cobb Astros baseball team, one of the top travel baseball teams in the country.
Crawford also boasts an outstanding football career, winning the Born 2 Compete Player of the Year Award in 6th grade and the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 7th grade. He’s an FBU standout as well, and has a very bright future ahead of him at a dominant Cartersville program.
Overall, Crawford is a determined young man who knows how to work and was blessed with elite athleticism. He’s a winner, and he’s going to be a major prospect in both baseball and football in the near future. He’s just an 8th grader at the moment, but he has 5-star potential down the road.
