Semaj Fluellyn out of Griffin GA is a force | Class 2026

After the first couple of weeks of the high school football season, it’s clear that the 2026 class in Georgia is loaded and ready to make an impact. One particular freshman who has already made his mark on varsity is Griffin (GA) defensive lineman, Semaj Fluellyn.

A tremendous athlete who used to play just about every position on the field, the freshman now stands at 6-foot-2 250-pounds and knows how to make plays in the backfield. He’s all muscle right now and has enough quickness to beat opposing offenses off the snap. He was excellent in his Griffin debut over the weekend, showing he’s physically able to play at a high level right now.

He may be young, but he’s already a versatile defender who is big and strong enough to play on the interior, but his quickness off the edge makes him a weapon at defensive end.

Off the field, Fluellyn is a determined young man who knows he has a bright future in both football and baseball. He’s smart, excellent in the classroom, and focused. He’s more mature than most kids his age, and that is just one factor that sets him apart from his peers. He works hard in everything he does and it’s starting to show on the field.

A dual-sport star, Fluellyn dominated in every sport in the Spalding County recreation organization and hopes to be drafted into the MLB one day. He loves baseball, but he’s a different guy on the gridiron. His natural ability to get off blocks make him one of the best freshman defenders across the state, and his drive, passion, and leadership skills should make him a top D1 prospect down the road.

The 15-year old has already secured a starting position at the varsity level, and his best football is still ahead of him. As we’ve said before, the 2026 class is loaded, and Fluellyn is already making noise across the state.
