Keeping The Main Goal The Main Thing

Caine Woods C/O 2028 QB Dalton.

Last season for Woods went great as their 8th grade team went 11-2 and Lost in the state finals of GMSAA. Obviously, teams hope for a championship but a team cannot hang their hands on making it to the finals and knowing hard work still paid off. As far as Woods goes, he felt good about the work he put in to that point and the results that he was able to get on the field.

“My off season went great playing in FNL 7on7  Friday night tournaments and weekends with Wolf Pack and Dalton Cats. Coach Terry Mathew’s my 7on7 Coach put us through a lot of Drills and off season work. As far as the fall I feel like all the hard work from 7on7 Transferred over to Tackle. This Season, we lost in the Sate Finals but I feel like we left our Mark in middle school and it prepared me to move onto High School.” Says Woods.

“My plans for next season is to keep building our team, playing video games with my teammates and hanging out. We will be incoming freshman now and are starting all over. As a group we need go in hit the weights and prepare to be Varsity players for Dalton High School when ready.” Woods said.

Woods who’s a duel sport athlete also plays for Charlie Culberson Baseball.

“My off-season will consist of Baseball, QB Training, 7on7 and College Camps. Coach Carpenter will have us working out and preparing for spring practice. Hopefully I can go into Spring and learn the offense to prepare for summer workouts and practice.” Woods states.

“We have a really good senior QB and I would like to learn as much from him as I can ,get stronger and hopefully be his back up and be ready my Sophomore year to play QB.” Woods said.

Woods is willing to step in and learn from guys who have been there and done it. This is only going to help make Woods better and Woods has the drive to be ready when his number is called.
