In 6th grade Martin’s team North Forsyth won the GMSAA championship. Martin was selected to play on the GMSAA FBU team where he would play starting wide receiver. They clutched the entire season and won the FBU national championship. Martin also played 7v7 with Hustle Inc. Last season as a 7th grader Martin was able to play up with the 8th grade North Forsyth Middle School Varsity football team. Martin started both ways at linebacker and wide receiver. Impressively, Martin led his team in defensive tackles and his NFMS team made it to the semifinal game for the playoffs and came up  just short. Martin then participated in the GMSAA FBU team where he was starting wide receiver. He caught the game winning touchdown to beat the GFL team to make it to the national championship. Martin and his team made it to the FBU championship game and placed 2nd.

“In the off season I played basketball, baseball, and trained for football. I participated in FBU camps and was selected as an FBU Topgun. At FBU TopGun I was selected to participate in the Futures Showcase in December. This season I played starting wide receiver and linebacker for my North Forsyth Middle School Team My NFMS team played 8 games where I  averaged 10 plus tackles per game, had 897 yards, and 10 touchdowns for the season.  My team was undefeated in the regular season and made it to the championship game of the playoffs and fell short. I was just selected as a wide receiver for the 8th grade GMSAA team and we are going to regain our National Championship title.” Said Martin.

“As a team our plan was to win 1 game at a time.  We played as a team and had an undefeated season.  Many of my teammates and I have played football together since kindergarten/1st grade and we have a chemistry that helps us succeed on the field. My individual goal this year was to have the best football season I have ever had and to be a leader on my team.  I wanted to make a name for myself in football and have my high school coaches excited for me to be a part of their program.  I believe I was able to meet these goals and am excited to see where my love for football takes me through my high school years.” Martin stated.

Martin is off to an amazing start in his early playing career, you will be hearing about this great student-athlete as he continues to improve on and off the field working hard with a passionate love for the game and a work ethic that shows in his athletics.
