Expecting To Dominate

Some student-athletes have the mentality to just come in and dominate and are able to learn and pick up things very quickly in order to do so. For Aiden McPherson it’s been a grind of tons of hard work, and he looks to only get better.

“My offseason has been a grind and a lot of hard work. Things that I have improved on is my footwork and reading the field and understanding coverages.” Says McPherson.

“What I expect this season out of me and my team is win out region and dominate the playoffs and work hard enough to win state.”

Just what you’d like in a QB is the head strong and positive mentality. McPherson possesses that on top of a strong work ethic.

“What I enjoy the most about playing football is have the ball in my hands on every play and playing that play maker roll and being me. Also at the Quarter back position I love being that leader on the team.” McPherson says.

“Love being that leader on the team” is a huge and positive sign of a QB looking to be “the guy” and McPherson shows all of those signs.

“The goals of mine are just to keep getting better and better each day and I love the grind of getting better. For the spring I just want to show that hard work does pay off and to just keep your head down and work.”

You can be sure of one thing and that’s McPherson being a household name in the state of Georgia in the near future!
